    The CDHR has thousands of members.We admit anyone who subscribes to our aims and objectives and is willing to sacrifice time and volunteer resources for the prosecution of our activities. Our members are made up of professionals and non professionals, lawyers, doctors, journalists, academics, artisans, farmers, traders, students, unemployed e.t.c.

HOW TO BE A MEMBER

Membership shall be initiated at any Unit or Branch or Notional Secretariat within which the intending member's principal place of work or residence is located provided that every member shall belong to only one Unit at any given time.

A person having his/her place of work or residence in an area in which there is no Unit may register as member in a Unit nearest to him/her.

Every new member shall obtain a membership form at an amount to be fixed by the National Council.

Every member shall fully complete and submit the membership form with all attachments to the point of collection for registration and issuance of I.D. card after payment of registration fee and membership dues.

All financial members are entitled to the rights and or priviledges attached to membership which includes to participate in the activities of the organisation; to partake in the discussion of all issues affecting the organisation and the society; to be supported, protected and defended against any violation of his/her right as a person and as a member; to benefit from any welfare scheme or initiative for members; to make use of the facilities of the organisation.

HOW TO BE A MEMBER

  • An application for the formation of a Unit must be signed by at least five of the members and shall be submitted to the Branch or the National Secretariat.
